Ground Source Heat Pumps utilise pipes filled with a water and glycol mix. These pipes which are generally buried, gently absorb the heat that is naturally stored in the ground. This low level heat is then concentrated and transferred via a heat pump to the wet central heating and hot water system within the house.
Air Source Heat Pumps absorb heat from the air. This heat can then be used to warm water for radiators or underfloor heating systems, or to warm the air in your home.
