Having been responsible for maintaining the university’s extensive private electric network infrastructure for more than a decade, Fulcrum Group company, Maintech Power was awarded a prestigious project to future-proof the University of Cambridge’s electricity network.

True end-to-end project delivery
The project was part of an asset replacement programme for Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) cables in part of the network, which provide essential power to university buildings undertaking important long-term research projects.
The upgraded infrastructure will form part of the network that is operated and maintained by Fulcrum Group company, Maintech Power.
