The project was part of an asset replacement programme for Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) cables in part of the network, which provide essential power to university buildings undertaking important long-term research projects.
The upgraded infrastructure will form part of the network that is operated and maintained by Fulcrum Group company, Maintech Power.
