Electrical infrastructure specialist, Dunamis, a Fulcrum Group company, has announced the appointment of its new Operations Director, Stuart Weatherston.
Stuart has over 25 years of industry knowledge, and has overseen several major multi-million pound infrastructure projects, including the site-wide utility infrastructure for Skanska during the Phase 2 redevelopment of the iconic Battersea Power Station.
Previous roles include his appointment as Framework Director of a £30m project involving civils and cable laying works across London and the South for UK Power Networks.
As Operations Director, he will support the Group’s growth in collaborative sales opportunities across high and low voltage projects, including the delivery of Electrical Vehicle charging infrastructure.
Dunamis, which became part of multi-utility infrastructure services provider Fulcrum Group following its acquisition last year, specialises in electrical solutions of all scales, nationally.
Headquartered in Bury St Edmonds, Dunamis provide services including in-house expertise, design, installation and project management of electricity infrastructure in areas such as battery storage facilities, short-term operating reserves and EV installations.
Through Maintech Power, it also maintains private electricity equipment and networks.
During his career, Stuart has held numerous senior manager and director-level roles within the electrical contracting sector, both for Distribution Network Operators and private clients.
Stuart was previously a member of Skanska UK’s leadership team and heavily involved in its safety and cultural diversity programme
Stuart said: “My aim is to ensure that Dunamis continues to play an expanding and pivotal role in increasing Fulcrum Group’s overall capabilities in the electricity services market, through our diversified revenue streams.
“My focus will be to ensure that we continue to always deliver on time and within budget, while meeting the highest standards possible in terms of safety, quality and customer service.
“This is an exciting time for the Group as we move forward with a number of opportunities and capitalise on expanding our electrical offering.”
Richard Jupp, Dunamis’s Chief Operating officer, said: “Stuart is well respected and has extensive experience within the electrical industry.
“His expertise will enable him to strengthen the commercial framework already in place to ensure this business continues to achieve even greater future success.”
