Maintaining consistent gas pressure, load and capacity throughout a development – particularly in high-rise situations is vital. Our specialist gas riser and gas manifold design and construction services deliver consistent supply and pressure to every level.

Outlet pipework for commercial premises

In conjunction with our Gas Connection service we can design and install your commercial outlet pipework. We can plan and construct pipework to suit your needs and the layout of the premises - either above ground, steel pipework installations or underground MDPE (plastic) outlet pipework if a boundary meter is required.

Fast non-disruptive installation

We are leaders in the use of trenchless technology. Directional drilling and moling are just two of the methods we can use to speed up pipe installation. Difficult and inaccessible terrain isn’t a problem to us.

Regulations deliver safety and savings

Current regulations prevent all utility infrastructure providers from carrying out non-contestable work directly – such as final energisation of networks. These regulations hinder some – but not us. Our experience allows us to use regulation to your benefit - planning and co-ordinating all works with the incumbent network owners to deliver a seamless installation service for you.

Safe and efficient meter installations, upgrades and disconnections

Fulcrum can plan a co-ordinated connection and metering service that’s integrated into your wider installation works schedule to prevent delays between the utility connection and the actual ‘gas on’ date.

Gas metering that meets your needs

We install, upgrade and disconnect all U series gas meters from U6 to U160. If your mixed-use development has a greater gas load demand, our experts can design and fit purpose-built installations to meet your specific needs within bespoke meter housing.

Fast and safe disconnections for mixed-use sites

Fast, safe and efficient disconnection of existing gas infrastructure is important on any development, but especially so on a mixed-use site where there could be combination of domestic and commercial premises to disconnect and make safe. We know that schedules are crucial so we aim to disconnect faster than the networks whatever the size of your site.

Totally competent and totally compliant

All Fulcrum gas disconnections are carried out to compliance standards. We can also remove the gas meter and then purge and remove the existing gas outlet pipework in commercial premises. We co-ordinate the disconnection with other ongoing works onsite to avoid disrupting or affecting your delivery plan.
