Fulcrum continued its successful track record helping the Scotch whisky industry to reduce its carbon emissions, with the design and delivery of a new gas connection to one of Chivas Brothers’ Speyside distilleries.

- We adopted, and continue to own, the new gas infrastructure powering production at the site.
Benefits delivered
- We designed and delivered a 7.7km pipeline to bring a continual, year-round gas supply to Chivas Brothers’ Allt-a-Bhainne distillery and, despite a sophisticated installation programme, the project was completed a month ahead of schedule.
- Our engineers overcame the challenges of passing the pipeline through multiple terrains, including under bridges, within highway verges and along waterways, to successfully provide new infrastructure that would help reduce the distillery’s carbon impact and improve production.
